I have just bought an EVGA 850GS, and after taking it out of the box I have noticed that the wall cable is too short at 1.5m. The power cable to my old Antec Earthwatts green 650w is 1.8m and is just long enough but I am worried that it will not be safe to use as the fuse in the EVGA cable is 13A and the fuse in the Antec PSU is 5A. The Antec PSU is also made by Delta, and from what i've read they aren't very good.

Could anyone suggest a good 2m cable i can find, or what I should look for in cable that would be safe to use? Even if the Antec cable is safe to use, 'd rather get a new 2m cable as i already have to position my computer sideways to fit the 1.8m cable into my old Antec PSU.

Thanks

Where did you read that Delta are not very good ? They are probably the best oem around for desktop power supplies.

One of these would be fine. I don't know if you qualify for free shipping ? as it is pretty expensive otherwise.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £12.65
(includes shipping: £8.70)

Or if you need one in a hurry then any pc/electrical store should sell them. They are commonly known as kettle leads.
