Look how 256MB cripples it in Stalker DX10 against its Big Brother 512MB cards. 
Patch for DX10 no ? (didnt like the Game myself, reminds me of Oblivion lol).
Prob thats what I am thinking off.
Lets say its a TYPO, and its DX9C, its a still major difference although not as bad in other tests lol.

SLI does not scale as well, and them FPS are no good to man or dog, and who want to game at that RES with high end cards anyhow.

Dont know, but does not every review get slated by someone or other.
Do what I do, read at least 1 dozen then make your own decisions, but since I will never own a 8800GT 256MB I will never know the facts.
