I own a Titan X,to which I fitted an aftermarket EVGA AIO around 6 month ago. This has been perfect up until a month ago when I found that upon a cold boot I couldnt hear the faint buzz the pump gives off and the temps of the GPU climbed to 90 degrees before the pump kicked in around a minute or 2 later. The same happened a week later and I give the rad on the rear of the case a tap and it kicked in again.

Now,I know it may of kicked in anyway but I took the rad out and give it a good shake and fitted it again after someone said it could be trapped air? This was 10 days ago and its been fine since but was wondering that ,if it was indeed trapped air, the pump would still buzz wouldnt it and how likely is it that trapped air was in fact to blame?

I have sorted an RMA out but to be honest I would rather not go throught he hassle of re-fitting the ref cooler and re-fitting the AIO upon return
