" Graphics card and motherboard manufacturer EVGA got so excited with the official launch of the GeForce 9800 GX2 that it now wants as many people as possible to get the new dual-GPU beastie. Since it's bad for business to give out cards for free, EVGA has decided to extand the Step-Up program, when upgrading to a GeForce 9800 GX2 to 120 days.

By 'default', owners of EVGA graphics cards that register on the manufacturer's site can get a new, better card through the program within 90 days but this time, and only for the 9800 GX2 they have one more month in order to save up the money and get the recently-released high-end model. "

P.S, Step Up is normally 90days with no exeptions period.

Who cares ?.

Its been said 100 times here, I dont want another Step Up is crap debate m8.

I only wanted peeps to know its now 120days for this GX2 not normal 90days.

Some feel its a rip of others dont, no other manu lets you change your mind and buy a better card if you find more cash or simply buy a card later not out at time of present purchase.

BTW, Although the cost of the new card aint cheap and you pay the diff, you do however get the full price you paid for your old card which could be more than you get for selling it, so its swings and roundabouts.
