EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB?

i just bought my pc but at the last minute is saw for £14 more i could get EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB instead of the EVGA Geforce 8800 GT. Now when the next gen gfx cards come out i plan to use evga upgrade plan to get mine. My question is whats the difference in performance between these 2 cards as i am quite surprised that the price difference was only 14 quid inc vat.

I think the GTS has a few more Stream processors and has a better dual slot cooler. The GTS seems to handle higher resolutions better as the GT seems to falter after 1280x1024. Well on my system anyway

There's not massive amount of difference between them performance wise (not much more than a few fps I believe), the GTS will perform better at higher res like 1600x1200 though.

You may as well go for the GTS if you can afford it.

For the price difference if you are gaming above 1280x1024 then it will make a huge difference
