Hello,

Not too long ago I brought a EVGA GeForce GTX 260 "Core 216 55nm" SSC 896MB GDDR3 TV-OutDual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (896-P3-1258-AR)

Recently I've been looking at getting another for SLi. Though, up till now OC didn't seem to have any stock, well, now they seem to be back and I was curious to know if this; http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-081-EA is what I already have? The only difference I see is the EA.

Also, I've never done SLi before(newb), currently I am using a Gigabyte EX58-UD3R Intel X58 (Socket 1366) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard. I'm pretty sure I read that it can do it. And do I need one of those bridge chips to place on top of the two cards?

Thanks for any info.

For best performance you will need the SLI bridge between the cards... you can run without but performance will be reduced a bit.

Within reason you can use any 260GTX with the card you already have - doesn't have to be EVGA even - but the SSC does run quite high clocks so unless you know the card can do that or are prepared to clock down it might be worth getting another SSC.
