Yep, all NVIDIA 970 and above are VR ready. But on laptop on full blown desktop 980 varients are officially VR ready as 970M and 980M are simply not powerful enough for VR.

AMD 390, 390X, NANO, Fury & Fury X are VR ready.

NVIDIA recommend 970 as minimum specification with 980Ti as recommended as VR demands are far higher.
