Could anyone with this PSU comment on the fan noise? I've just picked one of these up and the fan has a kind of "ticker ticker ticker" sound to it, rather than a constant, smooth tone.

Also even when in eco mode, the fan seems to come on regularly when I'm just browsing the web.

Hi Altich, usually there should not be a ticking noise. Are you able to captchure the noise in a video? About the Eco mode, this is also depending on the hardware in the system, if it passes a certain ammount of load the fan will also start. Which hardware is exactly connected to the PSU?

Hi, thanks for your reply.

Sure, here's a video.

System wise I'm running:

Asus Z170i Pro Gaming
i5 6500 @ 3.2GHz
16GB DDR4
GTX 950 (Although the fan still kicks in when using integrated graphics too)
1 x SSD

Thanks for the vid!! This do sound like there is an issue with the bearing of the fan. In this case is a RMA needed. You can do this with the place of purchase or directly with us. If you want to do the RMA directly with us you need to register the unit at our homepage and drop an email to [email protected]. Please include the S/N into the mail and meantion the bearing of the fan is not well and to issue a RMA. If the unit is within the first 30 days of purchase date we can also offer a UPS Pick Up service so you will not have further cost on this. If it is so please do also state a pick up address right away then we can also set this up directly. In the support email you will then also get further details about the RMA.
