Hi. Have an EVGA 1080SC which is decent and the ACX cooler is pretty good and remains largely inaudible. However, I have a slight fancy for getting 1 of the hybrid kits if/ when the EVGA store get stock.
Now I see that the pump and fan connect to the GPU's fan header. However, from what I can gather, using Precision or Afterburner for controlling fan only controls the blower fan for the VRM chips and doesn't control the rad fan, which I gather spins at a constant speed?
Now, I also have a Corsair Commander Mini - could I, in theory plug the rad fan directly in to that and set up a fan curve using Corsair Link to control the rad fan?
Probably a silly question tbh, and a negative wouldn't hinder me at all, but would be nice if could fit a PWM fan and have it spin right down to say 300-400rpm at idle and then increase as the GPU temp increases!
