Ok just got my new components for a new build and ive struck a problem on first boot! (hate when this happens) I have a EVGA nForce 680i so for people with this board i could sure do with some help.

My problem is that there is no video output to my LCD screen, all i get is the monitor light flash, now straight away i thought it was the graphics card and its all in fine, changed it over to the secondary slot and still nothing.

It powers on fine, and LCD digits on the board show - -

OK lets say nothing is broken, 1st thing is to remove 1 stick of RAM (guessing you have 2) and boot with 1 stick only, far enough to get into bios, the volts for RAM is too low on these boards by default (dpending on your Ram), set it to 2.1v and SAVE/EXIT.

Hope that works.

no worries solved the problem found a FAQ of it was down to power, it was either the power of it was a faulty board glad it was the power will post pics of new rig with watercooling inside.
