EVGA nforce 680i problem need help

Got this mobo and installed it,

the LED lights come on, and the fans power on, but there is no screen displayed. i know its not the graphics or memory cause ive put them in another board and the card works. Anyone got any ideas?

Sorry i thought the blue was the top one, i placed it in the top one and the 2nd one.
it comes up with a 1D
ive taken memory out and tried it sepratly in all the different slots.

would taking the battery out of the CMOS help?
 
i think i know what the problem is.

i think its to do with the RAM valtage i think some forums were saying if its below 2.2v it doesnt really work. and something to do with the N/B and S/B heaters, theres crap between the coolers and the chip's tthat makes it over heat too much and replacing it with Artic silver takes the temp down 10-20c. anyone else experience this?

im away from my comp for a few days anyone tried this and it worked etc
