Hello all, ive been a bit ticked off this month, updated my graphics drivers to the latest and RivaTuner 2.24 does not recognize them. So i either wait for 2.25 or install older Nvidia drivers.

Anyway, i stumbled across Evga Precision (which apparently is even made from the same person as RivaTuner) and this supports the latest drivers. Also my GTX is a Galaxy card, but it works anyway.

Just thought i would mention it incase anyone else was looking for a fix, its much easier to use then RivaTuner anyway :)

dont see the point in overclocking a graphics card if its sli, i have a 295 and i just cant see any point at the moment pushing it anymore than need be. maybe in the future.

EVGA precision is not just an overclocking tool its great for temperatures, fan control and framerates to name a few

oh right , ill maybe take a look at that then. just so i know for future reference, how much can you usually overclock the 295 cards too anyway?

Pity the volt mod app doesn't work with any nVidia brand.

Are you sure of this? I suspect it will do, as long as the card identifies itself to the system as evga

As an alternative workaround, flash the bios to your stable overclock using nibitor and nvflash, then enjoy immunity to driver misbehaviour and not needing to use software to overclock at all

ive overclocked my 295 using evga precision to see what it can do, upto core 680 shaders on 1450 and memory on 1140. tested by playing crysis warhead for 4 hours straight and was fine and smooth. could i overclock this anymore? i wasnt sure because its 2 graphics cards and not 1.
