This is so killing me right now, currently about to upgrade my cpu and cooler, ram, mobo and gpu . Haven't upgraded for a good few years now (2500k & xfire 280x) and not really kept up to date with latest developments, I have about £1300 to drop on the items I mentioned and my plan was skylake....but oh no, I started to read about ryzen, so that's on hold for now. That's ok I thought, will just grab a 1080 for now......then I see Ti is probably on the horizon, so that too is on hold.....must resist these prices above.

It's starting to burn a hole in my pocket and I don't like it.....damn you Overclockers...damn you !

Wait a week, 6 days until the 1080ti is annouced / maybe launched though it'll eat so much of your budget as I'd guess it's going to be around £850 - £899 mark. All well and good pre ordering Ryzen now but we need gaming benchmarks to go off and not just cinebench.
