So I did an advanced RMA with EVGA as my Classified sadly was affected by the faulty VRM issue.

I paid the collateral to get a replacement Classified before I send the faulty one to EVGA and was wondering if anyone knows if I'll get a refurb or a new card ?

I've gotten a lot of mixed information from various people so far.

Refurb I think mate, likely to be as new or partly new... support is pretty good if you call them but I'm pretty sure my 980Ti advance RMA was not new new

worth asking them if you can refuse if its shown to be a used model

The answer would be no, you send them a used card it's replaced. Unless it's within the retailer replacement windows it won't be new, same goes for every other electrical product really.

People might say they looked new - they do. But the components inside might be refurbished... The service is great though you won't have a problem and warranty is transferred to the new card.

Mine replacement is arriving on Monday after I paid for advance RMA a 3 weeks ago( they are stating is should take 1-3 days). Im Sure its is going to be a refurb as they were waiting for more stock to arrive into theirs RMA warehouse...

Factory refurbs, are not as bad as they seem.. they've probably actually been tested as opposed to a brand new one as I don't imagine they QC every brand new card.

Haha :D My Evga 660 ACX did die two week ago, so I send it for warranty. That was last week Tuesday, today I got email back that my replacement is on the way will arrive on Tuesday next week. From what I can see on my RMA I will receive a GTX 950 :D I will let you know if its a new one but I'm not that concern.

I actually got it at 6PM today, Very fast delivery and it is refurbished but the only way you would be able to tell is it didn't come with sticky back plastic you peel off.

Are you disappointed that you couldn't peel that plastic or that is not a new card? :P For my is good update for my media PC from 660 to 950 lower power drawn and cooler. Hope you got luck and it will serve you well for many years.

Nah not really, I'm selling it anyway so :p

When I get mine I will be selling it, and have literally no idea what im going to get.
Do I get another 1070 from different manufacturer or do I put some extra money for 1080 after 1080ti release.

Today i received my replacement card, and it literally camy in tesco value cardboard wrapped with some bubble wrap. But new card got samsung memory instead of micron which i think is bonus.
