Suspended while the updates are being sorted.

Given the circumstances, in order to remove any questions and to further differentiate it visually from the previous versions of EVGA Precision, EVGA has decided to listen to the community and suspend the downloading of EVGA PrecisionX 15 temporarily while these updates are being implemented.

I do lol at the people who are saying that EVGA are dead to them and never buying another EVGA product because of this little thing.

Yeah i would still buy there stuff, i have an EVGA 680 and it works great although i dont agree with stealing Alex's work.

Running well for me Gee. I don't really bother with it that much except when doing the od bit of benching and only ran it in Batman earlier to see if I had some gains.

Hmm! Gunna sack it. It's stopping BF4 from running with the latest drivers & if I run the overlay it locks the machine up.

I can run ab fine with bf4, however if I run FRAPS at the same time. The game won't launch, close ab and its fine.

What drivers are you using Setter? I am on the latest beta's and they won't let me have AB running while playing BF4.

Latest whql, 337.88 iirc they are. Not on the pc at the mo as its in bits for cleaning.

Maybe it is just these Beta's that don't play ball then. Oh well, they are working well for me and don't need to overclock for BF4, so will stick with them.

Yet to try the latest betas myself. Only use ab for on screen monitoring and fan control. Not sure how the latter works if ab is closed?

It's up to them where they spend their money. Unwinder has had a large following for many years, I don't understand how EVGA didn't see the backlash coming because if you are a tweaker you are bound to be part of a community / forum somewhere.

If EVGA want to make a clone without a community backlash then they should first appease Unwinder, if he is unhappy then so will we be. The community will always stand by him in appreciation for all that he has done for us in the past 17 years.

No problems with a reference 780, latest afterburner and 340.43 in BF4. Though I am doing the voltage softmod.

Fan curve goes back to auto when AB is closed for me. To test it, setup a ridiculous fan curve (like 100% at all temps) and then close the program. The fans should spin down to normal speeds and rev up when you open AB again.

He seems pretty happy with his partnership with MSI, then again they have treated him with respect, actually paid him for improvements and not tried to clone the bulk of his life's work.

Reeks of sour grapes from them ending his contract. I bet they've been asking him for OSD updates for practically years now. He's just not said anything till now because he was waiting to see the new software

See what bulk are you talking about exactly? Or for that matter I don't see Unwinder quoting any clauses in his contract? Certainly would put a lot of it to bed.
