No power on this morning, usual brief flash from mobo leds and quick spin of the fans
usual trouble shooting bios reset, all components removed (hdd gpu mem peripherals)- still nothing
fails paper clip test , fan spins then stops

Had a spare psu so pc is up and running

Registered when bought so has 5 or 7yr warranty, just a bit of jumping through hoops, cant raise an rma without raising a support ticket first, will go for advanced rma, as unit has to shipped to germany if std rma is chosen.

Does anyone know if postage is reimbursed via std rma?

Upside is it will give me a chance to fit i7 4790k and clone/upgrade to a larger ssd and another 8Gb of mem.

Process for Advanced RMA - guest and std RMA may vary slightly, hopefully you had registered your product and uploaded a copy of the invoice.

STEP 1
login to your evga account
STEP 2
create support ticket, your registered products should be listed, select the right one to log it against, support will email you saying whether an RMA should be raised
STEP 3
login to your EVGA account, select EVGA RMA option, select product support ticket was raised against. Fill in the form, support ticket number should be pre filled, select RMA type, advanced or normal, advanced you will pay up front (via PayPal in euros) and they send out a replacement straight away (4-5 days if it's coming from Germany), if the old item isn't returned they keep your money.
STEP 4
You will receive an email for creation of RMA.
You will receive an email authorizing the RMA with shipping instructions, address and also a payment link.
Pay using link.
STEP 5
You will receive an email that item has been shipped and a tracking number.
You will receive an email with the serial number of the product they are sending.
Check product received has same SN as in previous email, test it, send old unit back (at your own cost) as per previous instruction.
Wait for the 'payment' to be refunded

Update,
Advanced RMA chosen, 100 euro charged
Received replacement, same model shrink wrapped BNIB, but doesn't have the shiny handle on the back
+ model sent has 10yr warranty according to the code
+'send only the product and NO ACCESSORIES. Do not include Cables' now have 2 sets of cables etc
- no shiny handle

schoolboy error on fitting, 'invalid system disk', forgot to plugin the sata power cable to psu
just testing before sending old unit back

updated original post with process involved

Sent to Preston UK, I used UPS about £10(std tracked signed for) , dropped off at local pickup point, arrived next day,

-EVGA has received your product back for the EVGA Advanced RMA (EAR). EVGA has refunded the collateral payment.
Please allow 3-5 business days for the funds to show back up in your account.
