They have ''fixed'' the problem but it's still shocking how there doing it.

Not really shocking. They've identified an issue that can't be solved in firmware so instead of throwing their arms up in the air their offering replacements. Wish other manufacturers (e.g. Abit with the AV8) would do this.

Yeah but the delay time is shocking. I must admit i had one of there bords and i was not overly joyed with it. REV2 however is really good i hear, total chnage and way way faster!

Mem, ps2, fsb and few other issues sorted.

DFI has taken note and delyed theres in response to to work tweaks out i hear

seems good that they are admiting it, it takes a lot for a company to admit they have released a not 100% functioning product and to withdraw it and replace it is better!

think about the loss they must be making atm.

I assume that all the EVGA boards being sold now from OCUK and other retailers are the new Rev2 boards? Or is it going to be a lottery for awhile?

Good question, is there a way to tell what board you have?

EDIT: never mind, just a quad core issue acording to the thread, and i dont have a quad so i'm good :p

I brought my system last week from OcUK but held off on the mobo until this issue is fixed. Will OcUK pull all old stock off the shelf and only sell the new board going forward?

Would hate to buy one and end up with a rev 1.

i got mine in november when they first came out, so i take it i'll have a rev one?

i had a few isues at first but all were fixed by a bios flash

what are the differences between rev1 and 2?

thanks

I hope now, it will be safe to buy one of these for my new system in about 4 months time? and not need to worry about getting it up and running only to find i`m having nuffin but problems with it.
