Hi guys.

I currently have this card :

EVGA 8800 GTS 640MB Superclocked

Now as the title says, i only have 3 days left to do a step-up. I have a budget of about £100.

I do think the Ultra is overpriced, so is it worth going for the GTX just to be a bit more future proof, or stay with my GTS.

I really confused,

Thank you for the help.

Are you able to get the ACS3 KO version for £100? I got like 70 days left but I typed in the part number off of my ACS3 KO, and it shows me as having the Superclocked version on EVGA so looks like the part numbers have been mucked up and no reply from EVGA yet :(

Unless hes yet to register it with evga ;)

If he registers it with EVGA now he still wont get the step up since you have to enter the purchase date and all that and then it will tell you how many days you got left.

He could enter today as the day of purchase tho couldnt he?

But thats lieing ;), they will have some way to find out like maybe they will want proof of purchase, they also ask were you bought it from etc.. they could perform check up if they wanted.

Step up to a 8800 Ultra and get a free 680i LT mobo according to thier website
In which case you can sell the mobo as brand new on an auction site, and make a chunk of your money back :D

Yeah, EVGA require a copy of the invoice from where you bought it.

I think the GTX is the way to go. The ultra is far too much money for me.
