Has anyone gone through this process?

I think I understand the jist of it.... You apply for an upgrade within the first 3 months of purchasing the card. IF you are successful you pay the difference between the two cards.

I'm thinking about applying for this with my 260-216 SSC.

Does this mean I could upgrade to a 295 or something by this time?

I'm confused a little, do I pay the difference between what I paid? or between what a 260 will then be worth?

Also how likely is it that I'd be given this option?

If anyone could clear this up or share their experiences that would be sweet :)

Thanks,

G

Don't bother, its a rip-off, they go by their own prices at EVGA Europe and they are massive, better to sell your card than use step-up.

2nd that. I looked into this only 2 weeks ago. To step-up from a standard 260 to a 260 core 216 would have cost me over £100. Really not worth it. They priced the card at 377 euros!
