Doesn't the gx2 come out on top in most reviews? but yh if it's just shipping I don't see why not, less heat and with a good overclock could probably match your gx2 and beat it in others.

512MB Nvidia cards have problems with high res and AA/AF due to poor memory management, I'd do the upgrade if the stepup cost isn't too high.

Nah, Better mins, no stuttering, higher AA, no sli issues, lower power and 1GB of memory.

Give me a 280 anyday of the week.

Its all about consistent FPS and the word is the 280 does a far better job. A far smoother gaming experience by all accounts.

Personally I wouldn't touch a GX2 with a barge pole. The only Nvidia card I haven't owned and for good reason.
