EVGA superclocked GT's, when?

placed my order on the 30th oct for the superclocked. been a long annoying wait.

this has been more painful because i sold my month old BFG 8800 GTS OC2 on the same day as i placed the order to pay for the GT but I sold it on ebay, the buyer had their account hacked and the postal address changed to some low life in Romania. The day after i sent it paypal contacted me saying it has been filed unauthorized as the buyer had their account hacked and even had their paypal hacked also. because the address is unauthorized I have now lost the card as well as the final amount which paypal took out my bank account to refund the buyer so i am down the GTS and £277 even though it was sent using paypals postage thing and was insured and tracked.. yeah its been stressful because gaming is my life and stops me being bored :(

on another note i was registered under a different name here i did the contact a mod but never got a reply for my login. grr

I sent a webnote enquiring about when the Superclocked 8800 GT was going to be dispatched (I have ordered one)
They said in the reply that they would be arriving on the 23rd of November (this Friday) and would be dispatched as soon as possible

The new GTS wil be priced 200£ MAX. The RRP in the US is going to be 300-350$, which is about $175 max, with a bit of markup. 180-200 absolute max.

It'll perform better than a GTX when using 4X AA or below, as a rough estimate, and the increased shader power means about 10% faster in games like Crysis over the GTX which has fairly slow shaders, but a lot of them.

I wont be surprised if its prices over £200, they aint gonna price it 20 quid more than an 8800GT, they are going to want to price it higher than that.

I think you're right. The overclocked GT's are already in the 200 area. It's true prices always drop, but they won'd be dropping that drastically. If they make the new card for that same price they'd ruin the market for the oc'd GT's.

Gah surely paypal should accept blame for that one seeing as it was their account that got hacked?

they have been very unfair. paypal say the buyer had rights for a full refund and i had already used the money for the GT on OCUK so they took the money out my bank which left me in debt. its more complicated but its been a nightmare, plus i have been without a PC now as i was expecting the GT on the 9th, then the 14th then 16th. :(
