Hi there,
Shopping for parts for my new build. One thing I messed up on last time was my PSU so now I'm not going to make that mistake again
Motherboard - Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 5 Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX = £110
CPU - Intel Core i5-4690K 3.50GHz (Devil's Canyon) Socket LGA1150 = £192
Memory - TeamGroup Vulcan RED 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz = £50
SSD - Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5 inch Basic SATA Solid State Drive = £0
Hard Drive - Seagate Barracuda 4TB 5900RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache = £120
Power Unit - EVGA SuperNova G2 1000W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply = £125
Case - Phanteks Enthoo Pro Mid Tower Enthusiast Case with Window = £90
Optical Drive - LG BH16NS40 16x SATA Internal BDRW = £60
CPU Cooler - Raijintek EreBoss High Performance CPU Cooler Black = £30
Graphics Card - Sapphire Radeon R9 290X Tri-X OC 8192MB GDDR5 = £330
Would the EVGA SuperNova G2 1000W be enough for this build & potentially another 290x Tri-X for crossfire this year? Then perhaps 390x crossfire next year?
I want to make sure I have enough headroom for another PSU and not have to worry about being limited by the PSU.
Thanks
