EVGA supernova g2 High pitch noise

I know PSUs can have a few noises sometimes and ive seen it with corsair before but mine is sounding like a high pitched beep,

Normal??

No, not normal. Are you sure it's the psu and not coil whine from the gpu?

well to me it sounds like high pitch beeping. although my ears are really weird at hearing certain tones. It has only done it while im on autocad.

That's not normal. I would err towards coil whine as well, at high pitches things can start sounding odd.

Hi, are you able to upload an audio of the noise the PSU do make? Usually if you have 50cm space to the PSU you should not hear anything of it anymore beside of airflow noise when the fan is running. Do you have a unit with ECO mode and do this make any difference when you enable/disable it?

Hey, Thanks for the reply.

Its not doing it as much for what ever reason plus I dont believe a camera would pick up that tone. Im like a dog I hear things other people dont haha

I will certianly keep an eye out because when you pay £100 you want something not to break
