EVGA SuperNOVA Lineup Getting New PSUs



EVGA's SuperNOVA line will be enriched with a Titanium unit with 1 kW capacity and an 850 W PSU with Platinum efficiency. Both of the aforementioned PSUs are made by Super Flower and are based on the company's Leadex platform, which is among the best platforms money can buy. EVGA utilizes a fully modular cabling design and features a semi-passive mode for total silent operation at light loads.

According to EVGA, these two new PSUs will be available in either August or September 2015. Pricing information has not yet been determined.

Very nice, though the price hike over the G2 and P2 for the 1000W and probably for the 850 G2 won't be worth it for me personally

There's also a 1200 T2 coming soon. To be honest now that Superflower has announced a full range (750w-1600w) of Titanium units I thought EVGA might have announced more. A keenly priced 750w Titanium rated psu should sell well.

Thanks for the update Nelly. I noticed stock for the super flower PSUs has been low accross the board for a while aswell so OcUK are definitely due a shipment and hopefully the 750W Titanium is on it (I daren't ask them, they are probably sick of me asking now hehe).

Not long now.

emkay, you probably won't get a 1200W T2. OEM on these is super flower who don't do a 1200w titanium model (at least they have not had one certified). Closest is 1300W but looks like EVGA are just offering 750, 850, 1000 and 1600W Titanium models ATM.

Nice units as expected, but I personally don't see the value for money in these higher efficient units. Maybe if you are running a pc 24/7 365 you might notice a difference, but for most people it would be a luxury buy.

Same here, I guess you are paying for reliability more than energy savings.

They are all based off the Leadex platform though (G2/P2/T2), so they are all reliable units.

1000 T2 is about 30 quid more than the 1200 P2
