Hi all, after some advice please?

My setup is as follows:

Ryzen 1700 @ 3.9 1.45V
Asus Crosshair 6 Hero
32 GB G.Skill Trident Z
2 x Sapphire Vega 64 Water Cooled
250GB Samsung 960 Evo M.2 SSD
500GB Crucial MX100 SSD
1TB Samsung 850 Evo SSD
1TB Western Digital HDD Black
2TB Western Digital HDD Black
LG Blu-Ray ReWriter
5 x Case Fans various
EVGA Supernova T2 1000W PSU

When running games in crossfire it's just not stable.

I have tested both cards individually and they both run fine. Both capable for 1100 memory.

I can run and pass 3dmark timespy extreme stress test. But when I try and play Sea of Thieves, for example, its fine for a while but will crash eventually usually within 30 mins or so. I even tried running both cards in power saver profile, but it will still crash.

When I play with crossfire off, on 1 card, it runs fine all day long no issues.

Now, HWIFO says that my PSU is using aroung 150 watts under high gaming loads, and each graphics card can use up to around 350watts.

So thats 350 x 2 =700 then plus 150 from CPU = 850 watts.

Plus all my other HDD's SSD's etc should my PSU be able to handle this? Its says its 96% efficient, so should be good for 960 watts?

Anyone any advice? Trying to get my head round whats causing crossfire to crash, could just be the driver?

Thanks in advance !

Cheers.

Hi all, seems there is a specific issue with SoT and AMD. I've read up on it now, probably should have done before posting here!

Basically AMD users have to set lighting to "common" or "cursed" setting. using common has worked for me, just had a good couple of hours playtime no crashes.
