EVGA warranty with regards to installing a waterblock

Hey all,
A few questions. I’m looking at installing a waterblock on my 2080ti XC Ultra. I’ve only installed a waterblock on a AMD Nano in the past... this would be my first Nvidia waterblock install, as before I purchased a pre built hydro copper for my 980ti. I’m a bit worried about screwing it up, but now I’ve got to the point where I’m fed up of the fan noise and heat.

1) Does EVGA accept returns if the installation goes wrong (I know they accept returns of a card that has a block installed for other reasons other than installation issues).

2) I think the XC Ultra is a reference board, so would any 2080ti waterblock do?

3) What is the best waterblock for the 2080ti?

If its obvious you screwed up the installation (e.g. physical damage) then no it won't be covered by warranty - the card also needs to have the original cooler refitted to be sent back

Ek have a website where you can check if their blocks are compatible (same should be true for any other reference blocks if the ek one says it fits)

All of the top brand waterblocks are all pretty much of a muchness, i have the heatkiller, but alphacool and ek are also good in terms of cooling, i avoid ek these days as they've had a couple of slip ups and they've not handled them in a particularly consumer friendly fashion

Oh that’s a shame about ek. I bought my Nano waterblock from them and it all went quite well. Which slip ups are you referring to?
