Hi,

Recently bought a second hand EVGA PSU and curious to know if I still have the 10 year warranty (receipt for original purchase is coming with it) or if I'm on the 3 (??) year second owner warranty? Hoping nothing ever goes wrong obviously but, will having the original receipt be 'proof' enough?

That's what I was assuming, yes. Just curious to know if anyone had any experience of this. Not sure yet if the receipt has original owners name etc..

It says the original owner has to register the product within 30 days for the full 10 year warranty. I'm sure this is not the case though, as you have the original receipt they'll probably be lenient enough and honour the warranty anyway.

That's been really helpful thanks!

PSU just arrived, done a quick paperclip test on it and not convinced it's working. Either that or I'm doing the test wrong!

Have input the serial number into the link you sent (very helpful!) and it's telling me the product was shipped 30/01/14 but that I only have 609 days left on the warranty!? Receipt from guy who sold it to me says it was bought in March this year. Could it be that I actually have a 3rd hand, non working PSU??

Going to ask IT guy in work to double check it's functioning and go from there.
