evga warranty?

have a 2 year old evga 500w psu - sadly its stopped working;

bought from ocuk - how do I go about getting a replacement (it has a 3 year warranty)

I'm guessing after 2 years you'll have to go through EVGA.

As above you would have to contact EVGA as you deal with retailer only for first 12 months then manufacturer.

You will need to send psu to Germany so be prepared to pay around 40-60 pounds for insured postage. EVGA can reimburse you some cost but not all. Hope you get your pc running soon

According to Parcelmonkey it's £15 to send a 5kg package to Germany (via DPD), with £50 insurance.

thank you all - have started RMA with evga (and thank you OCUK for resending the invoice).

ordered a replacement 600w psu in the meantime as it`ll be a while and my son is not happy about lack of PC

I am sorry yes EVGA warranty is currently shipping to Germany.

We have just confirmed a UK postal service address though starting December 1st. I know this is a little late for you but hopefully something which will benefit many in the future.

That's fantastic news Ben, will help out a lot of people I'm sure.

EVGA have a stellar record with RMA's from our forums alone so making things easier to send back can only be seen as a bonus.

Makes EVGA an even better choice now! I have a question Ben. I currently have an RMA open with EVGA. Is it possible to delay it and then raise the RMA when the UK address is operational? My product will still be in warranty by then.

thanks for the reply! given my RMA lasts for 45 days (which would end on November 25th) - could it be extended by 7 days so I could use the UK service centre?

Again sorry you are going to have to mail the team in Germany to check here.

Please send them the details and the fact you heard we start with a UK shipping address on December 1st so can you delay the RMA by a week or so.

I will post more details once they are 100% sorted and we are about 3 weeks from launch.
