Anyone have this board or had any experience with it? OCUK don't even stock it for some reason, and it's one of the few MATX boards I've seen... not sure why there are so few around. How good a performer is it, OC'ing etc?

Currently using it for a few months now, with some mild overclock for my 5820K (mainly becoz I still have yet to w/c my system), but it's been rock solid
Yeah it's a lovely looking board for sure. How's the EVGA bios these days? Not used one of their boards for years, but I read about some early issues with this one but I'd hope they'd all be ironed out by now.

For myself I don't think there's any problem, but there is indeed some incompatibility with some NVMe M.2 drive like the SM951, but I'm using it with 950PRO without a problem.
The BIOS is stable and working, not aware of issues at the moment. At the M.2 Slot you need to review if the device is Sata or PCI.E connected, the Micro 2 board do only support devices with PCI.E Standard. If there is any specific question I can help you with just let me know
Personally, I never felt a need to use windows software with my Asus board... the BIOS did a very good job of that... so if EVGA's works in a similar fashion it should be all good I'd hope.
We do have the so called Smart Fan Feature in our BIOS that controlle the PWM ports. There you can set fan performance kind a similar to the Precision tool for graphics cards so you can direct the fanspeed for certain temeratures. Me personally also never needed windows tools. We do not have one, if you want to controlle the fans within windows you would need to go for third party sofware with our board.
Well Im using ASUS gene board with the software to control my fans and it's really easy but I was lookin at this motherboard if there was some think similar
I'll have a litte think about it. Thanks for the help guys
Does the Micro2 come with OC features, like the OC socket found on Asus boards? I'm trying to figure out how capable the Micro2 will be at overclocking a 5820k.
The ASRock Fatal1ty X99M Killer/3.1 is the best m-ATX board for overclocking on x99.
It's the only m-ATX board with an OC socket and the engineering and phases to back it up. http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Fatal1ty X99M Killer3.1/
Shame Asus didn't do a Rampage Gene V, but that's how it is.
