Hey Folks

I've just recently came into a problem with the above GPU. Running OCCT when I ran a GPU stress test it would just auto shut off my PC and restart it. Put it into a PC repair and they said the GPU is at fault, so i've bought a new 4080 Super, BUT I don't want to just chuck the old GPU away as it worked fine for gaming up until it used about 60% of max power.

An EVGA rep said to maybe try replacing the thermal pads and cleaning them.

Does anyone have any videos of how to do this? And where would I buy them from and what ones to buy?
Built my own PCs but this is a bit more than i've ever done so looking for some pointers.
Cheers

If you're not comfortable with opening up the GPU I would just sell it for 'parts or not working' on ebay tbh.

Thermal putty like Upsiren Pro UX would be the best bet if you want to do it yourself. More forgiving on the thickness.
