EVGA's Jacob Hired By Nvidia

Yes and no.

They felt profit to effort ratio was very low, and while the graphics division was a huge source of revenue they felt they may make more profit shifting more to their other lines such as power supplies.

While Nvidia was a part of that by not supporting partners enough with pricing or enough heads up on things, it’s not totally down to Nvidia (if it was then EVGA would have moved to partner with AMD or Intel)

As for the news itself least surprising news ever given Jacob left EVGA and very shortly after Nvidia equivalent retired.

I would not call it a betrayal given his job was basically made redundant. While their are likely to be some hypocrisy when Jacob is forced to defend decisions he may not agree with this could benefit consumers having a passionate outsider with a good understanding of what will make relationships with partners better

The guys moved jobs, by the sound of it in a good direction, where’s the problem? Why even give a ****?

People move from company to company in all walks of life, it hardly reflects on their lack of integrity or not, it’s just how most career paths work.

how dare he get a job with the people who killed evga gpu branch! he should starve on the streets just to spite jensen!
