Evil Genius 2 (E3 2019)

Its up for pre-order with a discount of 15% on steam for £29.74 released March 30th.

Dont normally pre-buy but tempted with this. Might be the game I've been looking for, the type where you think will just play for 10 minutes then before you know it 3 hrs later still playing.

Live stream on Steam at the moment showing the Developer taking you through the game play.

I think the graphics are pretty good considering if you think about the old version. Whats starting to annoy me is the controls I want the old ones back. I find myself subconsciously clicking the mouse which would do something in the first one only for it not to happen in this.

It feels like a update to the original with improved graphics, but to be fair I have only just started playing

It is with tons of other stuff added in. Not sure whether I like the side quests but I have found I`m pausing the game a lot more than I did with the original to plan what to do next. It also has the same unforgiving gameplay as the first in where if you go up the wrong alley its better to scrap the game and start again than struggle with lack of gold etc. Although I keep forgetting to sell the stuff on the Casino.

Go into the objectives and tick "show on HUD" against the board meeting objective so when the meeting starts you get a counter on the top right of the main screen and 0/300 counts up when it gets to 300 its completed.
This is starting to get me addicted last two sessions I was playing till 1am. I think its starting to get too samey now and its more of a grind than the first one.
Although now I've got quite a big lair and plenty of Control Rooms I`m pulling a fair bit of gold in from the World Map.
Had a few bugs, like tried to move an interrogation chair and it wasnt touched at all for ages so sold it and built a new one.
Researched and built firearm dispenser but havent figured out why the guards are not taking the guns like they did the clubs unless I`m
missing an upgrade somewhere.
