The EVO triangle one of the best roads in North Wales!

Any locals fancy a drive around it soon?
 
I normally visit once a week or so, I find early evenings best can get busy at weekends ;)

See a lot of nice stuff in that area this time of year to, wonder what they're there for? :confused: ;)
 
All i know about Wales is theres lots of speed cameras and a good chippy in Llandrindod Wells. They did an excellent battered sausage and chips and were open at the start of the year when everywhere was up to a foot in the snow (and muppet me had to drive to Pembrokeshire from Preston!) :)

The place not heaving with coppers wanting a pop at the magazine writers and wannabe Rossi's with their speed guns?
 
Thanks or posting this, i sorta mentioned it yesterday :D

30 mins from me, i never even knew. Might go for a nosey this direction when i get the chance.

I'm sure this wales speedcamera thing is a myth. Lived here 3-4 yrs now and i hardly come across any compared to built up areas in england (die blackpool die!!!).

About 40 miles to Pentre-Foelas.

I prefer the roads from Chester > Llangollen > Bala > Dolgellau > Barmouth

But then I would as I drive them a lot :)

I agree that the North Wales OMG speed cameras thing is a myth, I cant even think where the closest GATSO is to me! The "Arrive Alive" van is always in built up areas and there's far too many decent roads for them to cover them all!

Yeah, there's lots of good roads in the area. But these were mentioned in an edition of Evo magazine, so they are better ;)


There is a karting track nearby, might make a good OcUK meet?
 
Look like fun but at 275 miles just to get there maybe not (that what 2.5 tanks of fuel)........but you never know :)

2.5 tanks of fuel to drive 275 miles :eek:

You driving in 2nd on the limiter all the way there? Or do you simply have the worlds smallest fuel tank!

EDIT: Assuming you have a rather small tank (say 40 litres/ 9 gallons), you'd have to average 12.2MPG to get that few miles out of 2.5 tanks!

don't forget I got to drive home as well....lol

car get about 26Mpg....1 tank there...half a tank going round the triangle the other tank driving home.....
