Hi, looking to potentially move away from my HafX and get something new, functional and aesthetically pleasing. It's a notable investment for something new so I really want to get some feedback around it. Worst case, I can stick with the hafx which is still the GPU cooling king.

I've been going through a lot of reviews online and came to an understanding that these 2 cases would work well if the goal is to water cool the CPU.

Option 1:
My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £385.53 (includes shipping: £12.60)

Option 2:
My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £404.54 (includes shipping: £11.70)

The cost difference is trivial.

Configuration for Dynamic:
-Vert gpu since it provides a notable benefit here: https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/3285-lian-li-o11-dynamic-review-benchmark-der8auer-case-design
-3 x 120mm side fans
-AIO top mount with exhaust

Configuration for EvolvX:
-Vert gpu https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/3379-phanteks-evolv-x-case-review-dual-system-thermals
- 3 x 140mm front fans
-AIO top mount with exhaust

8086k @ 5.0ghz (maybe going to 9900k)
windforce 2080ti overclocked
1TB SSD
ATX mobo z390

What I'm looking for is what setup will cool the GPU the best and keeps things stable for years to come. If I use Gamernexus as a baseline for comparison, the CPU cooling seems similar for both and with the GPU in vert mount both see a benefit. However, the Dynamic benefits more from a Vert GPU in GPU and CPU configurations. The big question is how, how does that change when you put 3x140mm fans in front for the Evolv X instead of 2?

I'm running 2 corsair ml 140mms on the front of mine they push a fair bit of air on about 50%,if you had 3 I think it would be mostly in the lower compartment, ideal for cooling any hard drives there.
The case is very good and we'll thought out the rear cable covers hide all the cables well and gives it a very clean look.
Cooling wise,I've had no problems at all the new front and top panels work well.
Things I don't like are,the videocard cable cover is very cheap looking and the front fan panel is a bit thin where you mount the fans, you just don't tighten the screws so tight and you should be ok.
The fan hub is very finicky but I sorted out what I needed it to do.

Just a heads up. You need the following riser cable for the Evolv X https://www.overclockers.co.uk/phan...-riser-cable-90-degree-adapter-cm-02l-pt.html. This one is compatible with the Evolv X as it is 90 degrees. 300mm 180degrees is for Enthoo Elite or other (brands )cases.

what made you swap out the stock fans for the ML140's?

I have swapped to ML as well. First, because I've tried them before, they push a lot of air (through the radiators) and are quiet at the same speeds as other fans. Second they have RGB that I wanted, effect is subtle and lights up the case nicely. I also have 3x be quiet silent wings, I think they might be even better in terms of silence, but they don't have LEDs (I have them behind radiator So no need for any lights etc).

I got a good deal on 5 of them on the mm and having ml fans before I know they where a good upgrade from the stock ones.
