Ex HDD's with OS and Win

Hey, is there a file system that i can format my 2 ex hdds to that will simply do its job plugged into osx and windows...

I want to copy loads of files from a windows computer straight to the mac by obviously copying them onto a hdd.. its formatted in hfsj and its only reads on windows using macdrive.. i cant write to it... i can only read and write on osx..

Its all dvd rips

250gb worth that needs to be copied to a windows machine...

even with macdrive it says the drive is write protected.

I need to copy some dvd rips from the windows to the drive too... i cant store them temporalily anywhere either as there is no machine with a big enough hdd

You could zip-split the images up and save to 1.44mb floppy. work on mac and windows then.

lol sure i can.. but i need a shop load of floppies and about 3weeks...
