Call me stupid or what-ever but my computer is normally on 24-7. How-ever, i turned it off for a week (holiday) and i swear that after we came back it started playing up.

My RAID kept failing and for a bit i got away with swapping the SATA ports around (its what used to happen on my EVGA 680i and swapping the ports always fixed the problem) so i never thought much about it

however, i accidently switched the computer off at the wall instead of my laptop charger (doh!!)
Since then the computer refused to boot into windows bluescreening as soon as it passed the "start windows normally" bit. And now my RAID is failed totally

i've tried swapping the ports with no avail. I've dissbaled RAID in the bios so the drives look like 2 single drives in the BIOS and i can only see one of them. The second drive is just a blank space where it would normally tell you the drive name (in the BIOS if that makes sense)

i've replaced the SATA leads and even the Power lead just incase and even tried the J-Micron sata ports on my mobo

is on of my drives fuber'd???

my next move was to flash the BIOS to the latest but wanted to see if you guys had any advice first

thanks
Grant
