Hi guys wondering if anyone can help..:)

If you look at my sig at the bottom of this message youll see what setup i have.
The problem is i cannot return my computer from sleep mode..
Actually the computer kicks back in but there is no display..:confused:.

I hear people saying just turn your system off when you finished using it or maybe extend the system power option time..
There is occasions when i want and need to leave my system running.:D

I have had a couple of things thrown my way like disabling C1E feature and eist thing but they dont work,
someone mentioned about flashing the bios to a beta version but that would wreck my overclocked bundle...
I just want to be able to bring my system out of sleep mode without having to reset the system..
I'm running windows 7 64bit and the bios i think is F7

Any ideas will be welcome and thanks for taking the time to read...
 
My guess is the Radeon isnt waking up properly, there are some settings for power saving on the PCI-E links which you could try disabling. You dont want to disable C1E or EIST, because they form part of the standard deep sleep mode(on intel rigs) for maximum power saving.

When you say you want to leave the computer on, do you mean for example to do encoding overnight.. If so, you dont actually want sleep modes at all, as no processing is performed while the computer is asleep, you just want to have minimum power saving, so perhaps the system turns off the monitor...

Also what do you have configured to wake the computer, I normally have the system configured for keyboard wake only, as the slightest shake of my desk combined with my sensitive G7 mouse means that my PC turned on too easily.

Anyway, I would try disabling link state power saving on PCI-Express and see if that helps.

Thanks for the info mate. Could you point me in the right direction for disabling link state power saving on PCI-Express..:o Ill give that ago first...
