exact same card for SLi?

just wondering if you need 2 of the same brand cards for SLi, ive got one 6600GT at the moment, wanting to SLi them up, and my local shop has another 256mb 6600GT (Same clocks etc), just wondering will it matter that ones an XFX brand and one is Gigabyte (both 6600gt's)?

They can be difference brands, so should work ok.

You'd be better of selling your current one and buying a 7600GT tho, much better. (unless this 2nd one is only costing you about £40)
