exactmat vs mantis

I use an eXactMat. It has 2 sides...one smooth one slightly rough.

It's awesome, smooth side is my favourite though.

+the mantis looks a bit over done with green :p

Just depends whether you'd prefer a cloth or a solid mat

eXact mat is the one i use, well worth the money!
To be honest the mat is big enough, infact i only use the left hand corner of it lol

Ill be pairing it up with the new razer mouse as well :)

Since the Lachesis has such high DPI you'll probably cope fine with the lesser area of the exactmat. Having the choice of two sides is also a big plus in my eyes (it's why I bought a func 1030 "back in the day").

I like the fact that the eXact mat has the wrist rest. Can anyone who has the eXact mat say whether the rest is any good, and also if it helps when you're gaming with a lachesis style mouse? I'm going to be using the new lachesis (probably) with it - does this mousemat make full use of the 4000dpi?

I'm coming from using a trackball my whole life, so sorry if those questions seem a bit n00bish :-)

I have the exactmat with the rest and its very good. i think i prefer it to the mantis (cloth mousepad) and it is very nice to use for either gaming or general desktop work. I think the rest is very comfortable and i prefer then leaning on the table (which i had to do before).

about size i the exact mat is perfect for me ... its bigger than most normal mouse pads (see razer's site for exact size. I think the razer mantis would be to big for me to be honest. you may think different.

Is this smogsy from steam forums ? if so hey its blackhawk
