Excecl gurus - Finding data in cells

I basically have columns of data for the responses of systems, I need to find the settling time of the systems in each column of data.

This means I have to find the *last* time there is a value outside of 98-102% of the desired value.

VLOOKUP finds the first, I need to find the last.

Ideas?

Is vba allowed? if so a simple loop would do it quickly

Yes, however it would need to write to a cell.

So if I have systems A-C in columns A-C, this VBA script would have to place the settling time in a cell above systems A data, etc.

Yep sounds fine. Do you have a sample spreadsheet and ill do it for you?
