Excel 2003 Query

Morning folks,

I am probably being extremely stupid here but is there a way when entering text into a cell in excel, that you can press ENTER to type in a new line within the same cell?

I dont want to assume this cant be done as I am 95% sure I have seen it done before.

Any help would be much appreciated

I'm gonna say no, there isn't.

Edit: If you turn on text wrapping in the format menu then excel will put text on a new line when it gets to the edge of the cell but you'll have to adjust the height of the cells to suit.

I found it!

Alt+Enter

I cant believe I tried Shift+Enter and Ctrl+Enter and yet failed to try Alt+Enter.

Oh well, live to learn and all that.

I tried Ctrl+Enter and Shift+Enter before I posted.
