Excel - AVERAGEIF help :p

Ok, i have the data as seen below. I was wondering for the table on the right for the box which would show the average for the North if someone could work out an 'AVERAGEIF' function for it? So that it averages all the data aslong as it corresponds to a region from the North.

Actually i think i've cracked it. I used:

=AVERAGEIF(B4:B12,"=*North",C4:C12)
