Hi guys,

Looking for literally 2 mins help with a very small part of an excel spreadsheet - I'm a real novice and I'm sure someone with grey matter will solve in a moment.

Can anyone spare me a second or two please?

I've just written a conditional format on a spreadsheet which is basically a stock level inventory, and when the stock of an item falls below 100 for instance, the row turns red

Is there a way to copy the condition to other rows I've previously populated with text and numbers?

You could try the format paint option. The little paint brush in the 'home' section of the ribbon. I only know 2007 so not sure how layout works in later versions.

That said you will not get it to work in text using format paint unless you covert to a number
