Hey guys and gals,

I have 5 sets of data on 3 variables. Is there anyway I can use excel to automatically continue the line on the graph based on the current trend? (eg. effectively create new sets based on current trends?) I really need to see if 2 of the sets converge.

Cheers
Chris

Not quite what I needed (I didn't want a trend line to include the previous data sets) but thanks all the same!

For future reference, if anyone is interested and because I found out how, you can forecast continuous data by selecting the data and with the right mouse button extend the box for how many extra sets you want. Then select either Linear or Growth Trend. Then update your graph if need be.

Cheers!
Chris
