I need a spreadsheet please. I remember a few months ago someone sent me once, but don't remember who and cannot find the original e-mail.

Anyway, I need a spreadsheet to manage my finances, it needs to display the following:
Weekly Wages
What goes out each day
How much is left each week

I want to be able to keep a track of my ENTIRE cash flow. Moving in to a new house in a few weeks and need to start keeping an eye on what I spend each day, what the wife pays, work out what can go, what can be reduced, and how much I SHOULD have left each week.

My wife gets paid every Tuesday, and I get paid every 28th day of the month so need to keep a running cash total weekly.

Can anyone who is good with Excel provide me a spreadsheet please?

Not sure if this is what you want. Includes a pivot chart so you can see how your cash balances move over the days / months (just refresh the pivot table on the right hand side when you make cash entries). Obviously you can change the numbers / dates to suit yourself.

I export my online banking each month a feed it in to this, with a bit of tweaking you could probably do it daily. Certainly you could harvest the expense tagging system and make some graphics.

Why not just use online banking?
