Excel - external data sources ?

Anyone know how to identify where external data actually comes from in workbook ?
I have several spreadsheets that get refreshed daily/weekly, and am trying to identify excactly what database and query the data is pulled from - Microsoft Query is not really much help here.....
So, am thinking there may be an approach to take, or perhaps an add-in/standalone gizmo program thing that can provide this information ?

The source is in the bottom of the Links configuration

Ah, sorry, not links......talking about data from a database or similar, which is refreshed with the exclamation mark

Ah.. you pick the data source manually when using data > refresh data, so there's no way to see what the previous source was unfortunately.
