Excel File unopenable in certain folders

Hi,

Have an excel file that wont open in a certain folder, nor the two above it but will in the third above that. Located in:

C:\Data\Share\Projects\ATEXDSEAR\2389 Various DSEAR ATEX Gap Analysis\Airbus\Airbus - Single Aisle RA + Generics\B1-Process Engineering\B1-19 Hazardous Area Classification\Single Aisle & Store1\2389-Airbus-B1-19-004 - Appendix B - RA Tables1.xls

If I copy the file to desktop it opens no problem, but wont on the server - any ideas?

Path has too many characters in it.

It sucks but that's windows. (or NTFS, one of the 2)

edit, that comes to 245 characters, I think the Limit is 255

As said above, it's probably the character limit. Remember that your PC will have mapped drive to the server and then the real path will be something \\servername\area\data\share....
