EXCEL formula help, easy

Hi,

Trying an easy formula it wont work though, please help..

basically its:

26.50 divided by 1.95 plus 25% = 16.987

But excel wont give me that answer, please help..

=(26.5/1.95)*1.25

Excel applies BIDMAS prioritisation to calculations (Brackets, Indices, Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction). If you want one part of a calculation done before another, use Brackets.
