I'm trying to filter some data so that if 'TRUE' is in either column B or C. So in this case Person4 would be hidden. Excel just keeps returning the same error.

Edit: I've now included a closing bracket at the the end of the formula but it still returns the same error.

I would start with swaping the semi colon for a comma now that you've included the closing bracket and see if your error continues.

Usually I would just drop an extra column called "either is true filter" (or something along those lines) and use an OR formula function and then filter on that result if I am after something really quick with boolean logic in Excel.

Replacing the semi colon with a comma cracked it... cheers!
