Excel formula query (quite simple!)

Hello

I have a collumn with a list of date of births in it, formatted into date format. And next to it I would like Excel to auto-generate their age based on today's date. I tried this formula:

=Now()-*Cell Reference*

Obviously this does not generate nothing like what I am after.

Any ideas anyone? Sure I have done something similar in the past but don't get to play with Excel that much anymore so have got stuck!

The result returned will be in days - You would then have to convert this to years and months.

That doesn't work as a year doesn't always have 365 days.

This should do the trick

=IF(MONTH(NOW())*100+DAY(NOW()) >=MONTH(Age Cell)*100+DAY(Age Cell),YEAR(NOW())-YEAR(Age Cell),YEAR(NOW())-YEAR(Age Cell)-1)
